If nothing is working for you, the next step may be to see a psychologist.  They will be able to get to the root of your problem, which can in turn help to get rid of it.  But seeing a psychologist does not have to be the last step in the process; if you think that you need this type of treatment right away go for it.

Finally, if you have had a gambling addiction in the past you should never, ever start back up.  Just remember how bad you felt when you were having your problem, and remind yourself that it is not worth your pain.  The bottom line is that if you have beat a gambling addiction you will probably be tempted to go back to the lifestyle sooner or later.  Do not let this happen to you.
