As long as you know how much money you started with and can find out what you end with when you leave the casino , you will be just fine.

Do I need a budget? If you are going to track your earnings and losses you might as well institute a budget at the same time. This way you can have a good grip on your financial situation before heading to the casino, and of course, when you get home you can reassess where you stand. Obviously, it is better to win money than to lose because this can help to increase the money in your gambling account as well as your future budget.

In addition to basic tracking, you will also want to keep a close watch on which games are most profitable. It is one thing to know if you gained or lost money as a whole, but another entirely to have an idea of which games are treating you best. For instance, if you are winning most of your money with blackjack and losing most with craps, you will know which game to play in the future.
