Reality

Let's take a gut check right now, before we get to the point where you want to put some money on the line. Let's look at sports betting in an intelligent, straight forward, realistic light.

It's called Reality!! Do you know what Reality is? Do you ever really stop to grasp the true meaning of what is really the straight scoop about life?

If you haven't, then let me introduce you to the world of Reality. It's looking at things as they really are and not just what you wish they were.

Yeah, yeah. You're nodding your head and figure I'm gonna give you a long lecture about the deepness of life and all that crap. Well I ain't.

The only thing I know is gambling: how to handle it and how to cut losses waiting for Trends to develop. That is the full scope of my being, so I don't have the right to be giving sermons on anything other than what I know most about.

And I know a lot about gambling. Most of what I know about sports betting is that it's rough to pick a winner, even in a game that involves only two teams. 

You'd think it'd be a snap to analyze the past figures of a team, come up with a couple of winners, and spend the rest of your life lounging about by the pool of your 4 million dollar mansion.

That ain't Reality   that's dreaming, and the dreams eventually turn into nightmares when you end up losing 3 games in overtime, two at the buzzer, and two by an obvious bad call from a game official. That's Reality. It's gonna happen and if you have the stomach to take these setbacks, you're past the first hurdle.

I face Reality everyday:

(I ) Miss World is not gonna come banging down my front door.

(2) I ain't gonna hit the lottery.

(3) I'm a great athlete, have had an unbelievable run at many sports, but will never pitch in the World Series.

(4) My loose change is never gonna have six zeros after the first number.

(5) I ain't ever gonna be able to pick 70% winners over a full year.

That's Reality.

Now I can wish, dream, and pray that all this happens but sometimes God will just shake his head and say, "NO."
